Snowing, S1. SW winds 5 to 10 on ridges. Mostly calm in trees. Maybe 25 degrees?

Snowpack

4 inches new snow. 8 where wind drifted on n to se aspects.

Avalanche

Easily triggeres multiple 8 inch storms slabs that overlaid firm old snow surfaces (sun and wind crust), on 35 degree N to E facing slopes. Minimal propogation. The one in pic attached ran 500 vert through trees. Others ran 100 vert.
