Calm, low 20's near and above treeline.

North facing slopes are unconsolidated snow below treeline, 30-100 cm deep. S and SE facing slopes are starting to form a slab in the new snow from solar radiation - generally, there is no depth hoar buried below this new snow. E and NE facing slopes near treeline are windloaded slabs above large facets, which made for very easy whumpfing. We dug a pit on one of these slopes and got very unstable results (CT0x2 and ECTP12!). Above treeline, new snow has blown off every aspect except E-NE facing slopes.
