Precipitation was ended when I arrived at 11:30 a.m. Skys were overcast and clearing by 15:30 departure. Winds NW light. Minimal snow transport.
Snowpack
HS 65-85 cm throuought zone. As soon as I left the skin track I observed collapsing and shooting cracks some extending 10m from my ski tips.
Avalanche
I saw 3 small natural release in the upper snowpack on steep terrain originating near rock bands.
