Camped at Alexandra/Adrian pass Saturday night. Hugely variable ski conditions. Light winds all weekend. Passed many naturals on the approach. Saturday skied up Adrian, to the sub-peak at 1750m before getting blown off by poor vis. A 3 hour stretch of intense sun midday blasted the south and east aspects and creates a thick sun crust. This varied substantially in shaded areas in the trees. No observed signed of instability besides the crust layer sliding in small sections on steep features (size 0.25). A significant hoarfrost formed overnight Saturday. Sunday skied NW aspect of Adrian. The snow was beautifully preserved from wind and sun and was incredible. 20-40cm deep powder. Skied some very steep trees at the bottom and observed no signs of instability.
