Weather
Sunny and warm day near the highway corridor.
Snowpack
The snowpack is settling quickly along the highway corridor. Widespread surface hoar was observed in the morning, but broke down on many slopes during the day. Rollerballs, pinwheels, and small loose avalanches were observed on sunny and low elevation slopes. All the avalanche paths in this section of highway are gaining depth and most would be in play with another large loading event. With what we have observed in the backcountry, the shallow snowpack will continue to facet rapidly.
Avalanche
Still recording avalanche activity from the Thanksgiving day storm.
