Vermilion - Lower Avalanche Path

Test Pit at 1700m on a 36 degree west facing slope with HS = 75cm. 25cm of low density snow overlies the December 7th crust/surface hoar combo failing on easy compression tests. Surface hoar crystals were 15mm. The November 5th crust is down 50cm with facets below this to ground.
