Before the holidays there are plenty of mashed potatoes to be had @ 2050m and below. Consistently probed ~120cm on windward and leeward aspects from 1950m and up. 5cm of dry new snow and a 3cm supportive crust becomes moist and breakable to unsupportive @ 2050m. Springlike conditions, bring the skin wax.
