Skied the north side of Zoa and it was still better than resort skiing. 20-30cm of low density powder sits on a supportive temperature crust on north aspects. On more southern aspects there isn't much powder around making for chundering and icey skiing and slippery uptracks. Compression tests at 1720m at tree line and 1580m below tree line on north aspects had similar results with easy progressive compression at 30 and 35cm around the recent temperature crust and a hard drop (CT 24, sudden collapse) on a thin layer down 65cm.
