Great temps, wind and sun affected terrain on the SW slopes. We rode mellow NW and SE slopes. Good snow in the shade. Noticed some cracks and small slabs breaking off as we hiked up

This layer broke @ 5 elbow hits, non planar The snowpack fractured simultaneously, multiple times; each fracture 10cm apart during wrist test @ 6 hits Wind and Sun all day on the SE face, loading on the NE NW faces N face snow is soft and gets crusty @ 1800m
