With about 15cm fresh snow (on top of an extra 15 from the day before) sitting on top of a thick layer of ice made for some serious avalanche conditions. We stayed away from open slopes as avalanches were popping off to easily from 20 degree slopes. Was a great experience and a day to test how the snow was holding.
