Warm, 32F and overcast winds light out of the SE

Snowpack

HS 50-80cm Above tree line there are two buried wind stiffened old snow surfaces at approximately 20-30cm & 50-60cm Below both these 1F hard layers there is approx. a 5cm layer of facets developing The size of the facets was not measured but they are somewhere in the range of 1-2mm At the ground there is a very weak layer of depth hoar below tree line in wind protected locations there are no buried wind stiffened layers. the snowpack is just weak and unsupportive from top to bottom, boot pen. to the ground
