Snowpack
No cracking or propagating collapsing. Snowpack is becoming more supportive of a skiers weight overall. Ski pen has decreased dramatically in the last week except in the most protected deep timber.
Avalanche
No recent avalanche activity observed in the paths along Express Creek, Green Mountain, Brown Mountain, the Brown-Taylor-Green Cirque, Monument Peak, or Leahy Peak. HOWEVER... from the summit of Green at 2:15pm we heard a large avalanche somewhere in the Star-Pearl-Mace direction. Sky cover was obscured so we could not see where it was.
