Weather

Skies overcast, light winds and not snowing. Looked as though it was snowing to the east and south of the pass.

Snowpack

Traveled below treeline looking at SE->E aspects. Average HS 90cm, with snow drifting from exposed south to north aspects. Drifts formed on lee slopes were not reactive and 4F hardness. Snowpack near Crest Bowl was less reactive than in the earlier season. Slab remains soft with boot pen to ground. Big Slide (btl, east slope) average HS 90cm 4F/F hardness throughout. Depth hoar in lower 3rd of snowpack. Boot pen to ground, ski pen 10-30cm. Start zones still broken by rocks. Areas that were flushed from mitigation work only holding ~30cm of snow.
