OVC with S1 snowfall throughout most of the day, few small breaks in weather. Slide occurred at 37.8375 N -107.6897 W at 10,700 Ft on a Northern aspect

Persistent storms had hit the northern San Juan's for the past week, with few windows of clear skies. This large multi storm event deposited on an older layer of snow from November that had faceted out leading to very serous persistent slab issues. Additionally, high winds had been present leading to deposition on northern aspects CAIC had a considerable rating noting a persistent slab problem in northern aspects. Slide occurred at 37.8750 N, -107.68970 W at 10,700 Ft on a Northern aspect
