Weather
Weather was SCT for most of the day, Temps in the 20's, winds were moderate with moderate wind transport observed ATL. No precip until 430pm.
Snowpack
Snowpack was noticeably cohesionless BTL on N and NE aspects.
Avalanche
Observed a HS-AS-R2-D2 on a E aspect that ran full path to the bench before steep drop off into Sheeps Creek. It appeared the avalanche started as a wind slab NTL that lost momentum once it hit the road BTL, and then triggered a loose dry avalanche that ran to the next bench. I could see ski tracks leading into the crown and the debris looked new. However a team of patrollers investigated the avalanche from the top and they stated the tracks appeared filled in suggesting the avalanche may have been an older avalanche.
