Great day skiing until getting socked in on the north side of Kootenay Pass in the afternoon. Cornice Ridge East ski’d very well but dropping West from Buzz’s was the best ski conditions we encountered, deep and no wind effect noticed. In more open areas on Buzz’s Southeast below the ridge it was quite wind affected and firm but still enjoyable skiing. Overall throughout the day we didn’t see any signs of instability but wind effect is definitely around. Still some early season sharks lurking.
