Rode stellar bowl, conditions were wind packed at the ridge line, powder in more sheltered areas. Pit dug on a north aspect 30 degree slope angle First 20cm of wind packed snow reactive from 2 hard taps from the elbow, no other layers were reactive, deep persistent layer was about 80cm down, sheered when the column was pulled from behind with shovel

Reactive layer was wind slab at ridge line from newer snow from late in the week that was wind pressed into older storm snow. Snow was less consolidated in sheltered aspects.
