Toured into Thunder Meadows on Jan4 with considerable avy hazards. Went up cabin bowl, over the saddle and to the cabin. The mission in was long with 30+ new snow to break trail with. Once at the cabin on Jan5 we rode the South facing slope across from the cabin. No signs of instability while we were out riding. Coming back out Cabin bowl on Jan 6 with 2cm new snow, we rode the ridge line down and stayed in the trees, we were cautious of thin to thick snowpack areas and rode 1 at a time down convex slopes. Ski cut one convex slope and had no results of failure.
