We found a lot of wind, some stumps, and plenty of great powder turns in Morrissey. Winds were calm at valley bottom but strong at 1950m with significant scouring and drifting in open areas. Tracks were quickly covered with blowing snow. Sheltered trees produced some excellent powder turns. Observed one recent sz 1.5 avalanche on steep rocky NE facing slope below large cornice (limited observations due to poor visibility). Temperature rose from -4C to 0C throughout the day.
