Avalanche

Avalanche came from the north face of point 12,870 (see map) and crossed FR267 at mile 2.25 (from St. Elmo). It was about 0.25 mile wide on the road (blue markers on map indicate the edges of the debris field) and ran another 40 yards beyond the road. I had been told about this avalanche by someone who saw it on Tuesday 3/19 (don't know if they reported it).
