Avalanche

Intentionally triggered a moderately large, R2 D2, soft slab avalanche with a ski cut. East aspect, 11,600’, 38 degrees at start zone, 6-8” crown depth. Slab propagated 150’ to the south and ran for 600’. Avalanche was confined to recent storm snow and did not step into deeper layers despite entraining a large amount of snow.
