Nice ski quality up high, although each ridge line was a little shallow. South West aspects seemed a little better than North West for coverage. Saw 2 large natural avalanches triggered by cornice collapse on Sunday morning, within minutes of sun hitting. Temperature was still around -10C at that point, but there had just been 30+cm of snow, wind and no sun for a couple days. Snowpack on Helen shoulder seemed excellent. Some areas had minor wind effect but the big open bowl on the South end had no wind effect. The temperature crust was present, but seemed well bonded and there were no consolidated layers on top that we found.
