Weather

Clear skies and temperatures warm enough that the snow surface became moist and grabby on sunny slopes by early afternoon.

Snowpack

Warm temperatures are helping to keep the faceting at bay but will likely leave us with a significant crust by the end of this warm period on all but northerly aspects. No signs of instability could be found during slope tests with skis or with small intentional cornice drops on east northeast-facing slopes at 11,300 feet.
