Weather
Cold and clear day. Light W winds with the occasional strong gust.
Snowpack
Variable. Both in terms of snow depth and surface conditions. In wind loaded areas the surface snow was stiff and supportable and in sheltered areas the snow was unconsolidated and did not provide support or coverage of the many rocks and trees. Areas with a slab thickness of >50cm yielded no reactivity from ECT tests but where the slab was <50cm the wind slab was supportive and reactive in ECT tests.
