Sunny with calm winds @ TL; winds 15 mph or so at ridge top of Gold Hill (~ 12,000 ft) and out of the WSW.
Snowpack
NE aspect @ 11,750 feet: total snow depth of 175 cm. About 35 cm of soft snow on top of a very firm crust, another firm crust at depth of about 145 cm. Surface snow started to warm from sun around 11 a.m.
Avalanche
Saw small wind slab (D1) in the distance SW of Clinton Gulch, probably occurred yesterday or overnight. NE aspect and steep. No avys observed @ Mayflower, but winds were transporting snow off peaks and cross loading north-facing gullies.
