Snowpack
No obvious signs of instability while on skis. The snowpack varies between 2.5 and 3 meters on northerly-facing slopes near treeline. The 1/19 persistent weak layer(crusts/facets) is buried about 1.5 meters below the surface now and is unreactive in extended column tests. The upper 1.5 meters of snowpack is right-side up, fist minus at the surface increasing to pencil at the 1/19 interface.
