At 10,600: Currently 25 degrees and 30 mph gusts at 10,600' at 1pm on 2/7. Strong wind gusting ~30mph overnight. Along ridge line: 50mph gusting 80mph from the west in the Southern Ten Mile Range. Certainly less windy at tree line.
Snowpack
1-2 inches of snow overnight on top of close to a foot in the last several days at 10.6k'. Observation was made from a distance, so snow pack description not known at the precise location of the slide.
Avalanche
D1 Northeast at 11,700 ft. Appears to be naturally triggered between nightfall of 2/6 and mid morning of 2/7. Photo taken from 10600' towards the southwest. The large mountain behind the slide is the north east aspect of North Star Mountain. Feedback to improve future reports welcome.
