Weather
Primarily riding/traveling in SE aspects between 11,740 and 10,900. Wind was calm. Temperatures felt to be within the mid 20s. There were times of cirrus clouds and sun which was generally consistent throughout the day.
Snowpack
Reviewed snowpack at 11,260 near the 110 cliffs on a SE aspect. Snow depth was 80cm. CTM 16 failing around 30cm on early season facets. ECTP 22(SP) on the same layer as the compression test. Most new snow feels like it is sitting on a supportable slab where as the weaker area is still from the early season facets which appeared to be roughly 2-3cm. This only feels supportable when you are riding/skiing. As soon as you step out you sink to this faceted layer.
