Location
Little Yoho Valley

Just back from a short trip to the Little Yoho Valley. I was hiking, but had some good views of glaciers that are often skied in the winter. The glacier that is used to access President Pass from the Hut has numerous, large crevasses that are inline with the usual ski descent lines. Also, from across the valley the bergschrund looked big. Very big. It looked like there was a ramp on the climbers left side that went from middle to left, but I was across the valley. The second photo is the glacier between Isolated Peak and McArthur, which also had some large-enough crevasses that again were inline with what looked like the obvious descent line. Hopefully we have a deep winter and no one needs to use these photos!
