Snowpack
The snowpack on east-facing slopes is about 70 to 80 cm deep, a bit shallower than the areas I recently traveled near Fremont Pass. However, the snowpack structure is the same. The weakest snow (1 mm facets) is about 35 cm from the ground. This layer is fist-hard and cohesionless. I got a result of ECPT11 on an east-facing slope at 11,600 ft with HS of 70 cm.
Avalanche
There was some natural avalanche activity in this area during the storm. Most avalanches were on the smaller side and the activity wasn't widespread.
