Weather
Mostly cloudy, light snow on/off, v warm when sun peeked through, wind at ridgetop mild by CD standards
Snowpack
Up to 12” or so of new snow, a few inches of heavy powder with punchy and spongy snow underneath. Did not test interface of new and old snow.
Avalanche
Observed three skier triggered avalanches from a distance: two on east face of Coon Hill, one on north face of “No Name” in Loveland ski area. All appeared to be storm snow that ran a few hundred feet. Unsure if any skiers were caught.
