Strong winds and drifting snow at NTL, ATL, and open areas BTL were the most dominant weather aspect.
Snowpack
In areas where I traveled, on northeast to southeast aspects, NTL and BTL, the snowpack was between 150 cm and 175 cm deep. The basal layer is over 1 m deep and capped under > 50 cm of P hard mid-pack layer. A weak layer of CF and SH is buried under the asy storm snow, about 20 cm from the surface. However, this layer is currently not active. ATL, where the slopes are exposed to the winds, the HS varies dramatically, and the buried weak layer mentioned above is inconsistent across the slope.
