Weather
Clouds blowing by very quickly but we barely felt any wind in this zone (faces SE/E). I believe the wind was coming from the W/NW. Some small snow showers blew in and the sun was out intermittently. I think temps were in the 20s.
Snowpack
Did not dig a pit. There was a couple inches of fresh snow on top of other recent fresh snow. This specific area gets a lot of sun exposure. Possible wind loading and sun crust layers in the Tea Cup Bowl area.
Avalanche
SE facing middle (lookers) left path of Tea Cup Bowl. I was traversing across the top of the bowl when it let loose in what looked to be the steepest part of that bowl. Crown looked like about 4-8in from where I took pics. Looked like R1 D1.
