US Basin, middle of basin to the head of the basin, on NW and N aspects. Clear, Cold Negative -5F to +10F once in the sun, No Wind on summit of US Basin Peak, 12,600ft

Snowpack

US Basin; Soft wind slab, stiff wind slab or hard old wind slab ATL between 11,600ft to 12,600ft in valley bottom and on N facing slopes. South facing slopes had softer snow. I had two minor collapses on S. facing slopes NTL.

Avalanche

US Baisn: Observed one Natural storm slab avalanche on N. facing slope in US Basin. Release zone was just below cliff bands. 12,200ft elevation. Size was about about 100ft across and it ran about 200ft. R2 D2.
