Weather

Partly cloudy and some wind. Afternoon turned to blowing snow and ice fog. Elevation is 10,680.

Snowpack

Snowpack was good in most areas. We didn't see any other movement- no slab cracking or any other movement.

Avalanche

We had been riding in this area around White Owl Lake (elevation 10,680) and came back up the trail and this had slid. This was North facing, was wind loaded, and slid to the snow pack below the new snow on Friday. The crown was about 20" deep and was approximately 75' wide. This face was estimated at approximately 45 degrees.
