Avalanche

Caribou E by SE 10,500ft Type: WS Trigger: AS - Skier Trigger (subcode): r Size - Relative to path: R2 Size - Destructive force: D1.5 Sliding Surface - O - Within Old Snow Remote skier triggered Small R2/D1.5 on south east aspect, approx 20meter wide crown, 30-60cm crown depth, windslab ran approximately 50meters. No skier caught. Skier 1 dropped over convexity and settling/whomping was immediately heard, small hairline crack across convexity propagated in both directions across entire 100meter convexity. Skier 1 safely exited slope and traveled to relative safety of tight trees to north. Skier 2 traversed north across convexity attempting to ski cut slope just above convexity. No release. Remote triggered slide was observed remotely from treed shoulder, all measurements are estimated.
