Toured up backside of Cleveland and skied down to Chilkoot, Cleveland bowl, and SE facing slope down to 13 mile. Typical spring day with lots of fresh avalanche activity on S, E, and W slopes - saw a few point releases in action. Deep pow (50cms) on chilkoot run - found 2 upper pack layers of concern - 10 cm down easy clean shear, and one 30 cm down, not as easy, not as clean. Not reactive to ski cuts, though bit of settling (whumping) on the uptrack. Pow not as deep on Cleveland bowl side (20-40cms) and layers of concern were not nearly as reactive in hand pit as on Chilkoot. Fun ski down to William Moore, though snow started to get pretty wet as we approached creek bottom.
