Weather
Thin over cast most of the day. Kept things warm, but not hot. Early morning winds eased by mid-day.
Snowpack
Very supportive crust the whole trip. I was down by 2 pm so there was still a lot of daylight to heat the western aspects. No signs of old or new natural or triggered activity. Had a good view of the east side of the Tenmile especially the southern end. Some excellent examples of cross loading from the west side of 13,679 foot Bald Mountain (see attached fotos). I was a bit surprised to not see any signs of old debris in these cross loaded gullies. They almost always run at least once per winter. There is a lot of steep cross loaded terrain around here, west side of Bald and Boreas Mountains, North side of Silverheels and Red Peak.
