Weather
s-1 in the a.m up to s2 in the afternoon. almost no wind.
Snowpack
hn24 45cm at 11,000ft. not wind affected, and seemed right side up. quite low density in the upper half of the new snow. surprisingly did not hear any collapsing and only saw a few small cracks. we deemed this to be false stable, as the previous day we found buried s.h. 40cm down that was very reactive due to the warm temps.
Avalanche
saw one ss-n-r1-d1-<tl ran probably 200' vert and was maybe 150' wide. triggered by sluffing from a cliff or a tree bomb. start zone over 40*. n facing. slide involved only new snow.
