Snowpack
Despite lack of strong winds, fresh cornice development is significant. We rolled some very large cornice pieces downslope (NE at TL) with no signs of instability. However, as we exited the area we triggered a small but serious slab, SSASuR2D2o (ENE at 10,500') that took all the new snow and an underlying older layer running on a thin MF crust. Isolated, but significant triggered slides running on buried SH/NSF remain a concern.
