strong blosno, difficult to differentiate precip from blowing snow. temps down to approx 15F, with winds out of the W/NW gusting to approx 40mph. sky mostly obscured from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Snowpack
finally more of a snowpack up there, storm snow bonded well, numerous test slopes up to 35-40 degrees (all SE/E facing) without result. one larger feature, approx 38 degrees, near treeline in meadowy area, on a convex rollover, we ski-cut without result. two small whumpfs observed, but no shooting cracks/large collapses.
