Weather

Showery snow and temps in the teens. Wind chill made it feel colder. Light transport of snow at ridgetop.

Snowpack

New snow bonded well with old snow surface. Investigated east slopes near and above treeline, noted very thin melt freeze crust at new/old interface. HS at top of Crest Bowl ranged from 175cm to 230cm. Average HS in start zones at Big Slide was 100cm. Boot pen 20cms near treeline, 50cms below.
