HN/W; 8"/0.75". HS 59". Overcast, S1-2 snowfall, cold, and windy. Snowfall and winds eased considerably in the afternoon. 2" additional at 1400.

Snowpack

Ski testing on N-E aspects near and below TL produced shooting cracks and avalanche release, SSAScR2D1-1.5 x3. Fresh wind loaded pockets with 12" or more of new snow were the most sensitive. Numerous shallow natural avalanches in the new snow on Nerly aspects below TL were observed despite the poor visibility.
