Red Lady-Weather: Clear, sunny, calm. Air temperature at top of ridge was 38 degree Fahrenheit at 3PM as measured 3 feet above snow.
Snowpack
No signs of instability. Surface hoar growth up to 5 mm observed up to first road on main skin track and all road cuts. South ridge has plenty of bare patches now with some areas showing 15 o 25% bare ground. Wintery snow below the ridge for 500 feet and below are continuous sun crusts. Broke through one crust on the descent, which had a thickness of 2 inches with facets below and another sun crust.
