All about asp today. Early temps -12C in alp but true SE/S slopes feeling sun before convective clouds brougjt some shading. Whumpfing noted from 1740-1950m in a.m. Suspect 180322 SH layer collapsing. Only avalanche observed not yet reported was a size 2.5 from steep N asp below outlier of Castle Towers at similar elevation to 3.5 reported on Cheakamus Glacier previous week. On steeper, skiable terrain, only surface layers sluffing as loose dry. Few riders tempted to test loaded convex rolls today.
