Avalanche

I was extinguishing my campfire when I heard a "whump" then a "jet" sound. I figured it was an avalanche so I went to the road to check. And yes. Earlier in the day I had photographed a cornice that looked like it was going to fall. (see photo 1) It appears that the cornice did fall, then triggered the slide (see photo 2)
