Broken skies with some snow showers and low clouds blowing around the valley. Light westerly winds.
Snowpack
Last night's snow had seen enough sun to settle into a dense, very moist layer with a little wet snow at the interface with the old crust. As of 1:30, there had not been enough sun or heating to produce any loose wet activity. I anticipate seeing some activity tomorrow on steep slopes that receive direct sun, but avalanches will be limited to the new snow and should not pose a serious hazard to road clearing operations and personnel. No signs of instability were observed today.
