Weather

Calm, cool, overcast, and snowing S-1 to S1 during our tour. Very little wind and almost no snow transport observed.

Snowpack

Bu 2pm, total storm total since last nigh was around 3 inches. Some areas had accumulated 6 inches or due to minor drifting. Low density new snow and barely affected by the wind, even up high along the Continental Divide. Thin coverage. Most areas near and below treeline have a weak snowpack with pronounced faceting. The midpack slabs are only 4F in hardness and shows signs of rapid deterioration due to faceting over the last couple weeks.
