light snow overnight with clear sky's during data collection
Snowpack
a shallow pack of 64cm. From 64 to 57 new snow, 16 percent, four fingers. At 57cm is a thin pencil crust. From 57 to 40 is a layer of faceted crystals, 1+mm, 24percent, four fingers. At 40 cm is a hard crust, pencil. From 40 to 20cm is layer of faceted crystals, 1-2mm, 24 percent,four fingers. At 20cm is a hard crust, pencil. From 20 to ground is a depth hoar layer, faceted crystals, larger than 2mm, 26 percent, fist. Several shear test provided the same result, easy shear at the 40 cm layer
