We saw warming temps today, it was 0 degrees at 1800m. Winds were moderate and gusting up to 50km/hr out of the south. When digging we found a solar crust under 10cms of storm snow that was forming a soft windslab on the surface. The snowpack is settling with warming temps and we saw no new avalanche activity today.
